DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS? In the interest of fairness to all of my clients, I am unable to offer special deals or discounts except for those that may be run occasionally as promotions (mini sessions). WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO YOU ACCEPT? I accept cash, check, ChasePay, PayPal, and credit card.

HOW LONG UNTIL I GET TO VIEW MY IMAGES? For newborn sessions: approximately 1 week after your session, you will receive an email with instructions on how to view and share your online gallery of 20-30 of the very best images from our session in color and black and white. For child/family/maternity sessions: approximately 2-3 weeks after your session, you will receive an email with instructions on how to view and share your online gallery of 20-30 of the very best images from our session in color and black and white.

DO YOU REQUIRE IN-HOME PROOFING SESSION? I do not require in-home sales. However, I understand that choosing what to do with your images can be very overwhelming for some people, so keep in mind that I am available for an in-home proofing session on how to best use your images to decorate your home at no additional charge.

WHAT IS A SESSION FEE? Session fees include my time and creative talent only. The session fee is due at the time of booking in order to hold your spot. All session fees are non-refundable. 

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENT? Yes, I have a minimum order requirement of $200 which is due on the day of your session. You can purchase prints or digital collections (which start at $200).

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PHOTOGRAPH NEWBORNS? In order to get those sleepy snuggly newborn images, these sessions are done during the baby's first two weeks. My ideal timeframe is 5-10 days new. Older newborns tend to sleep less and don't curl up as easily. Newborn acne may flare up at around the 2 week age too. Please note that all babies do not sleep the entire time. I'm sure you think they do by the images you see, but most are awake at least some of the session. This is why newborn sessions are typically 2.5 hours - plenty of time for feedings and comforting (which I love to do).

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A NEWBORN SESSION SINCE I DON'T KNOW WHEN HE/SHE WILL BE HERE? It is never too early to book your newborn session! Because your baby's birth is unpredictable, just tell me your estimated due date and I'll block off some time around that day. When the baby makes his/her entrance into this world - just contact me and we'll schedule a date. However, if you know you are having a C-section or you are being induced - we can schedule an actual date in advance. 

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? I am located southwest of Joliet in a little town called Minooka. Newborn sessions are all taken at my in-home studio (and if the weather is nice - outside too!). Classic session (child/family/maternity) can be held outside my house (with lake, sand beach, acre lot) ... or we can go to the forest preserve in Channahon ... or park ... or for an additional fee, a location that is not within 15 miles of Minooka that you would like to go. We can work together to come up with the best possible location for your family.
